Corrections, source updates, and feedback

HireTea is independently operated by an individual publisher. If a hiring process, worker term, source link, policy note, or role requirement appears outdated, send the page URL and the source you want reviewed.

Email jeongyuseck@gmail.com for corrections, source updates, privacy requests, advertising questions, or general feedback.

What to include

Corrections

Send the HireTea page URL, the sentence or table that appears wrong, and a current official source when possible. For company-specific hiring details, the most useful sources are active job postings, employer careers pages, policy pages, benefits pages, recruiter emails, and public government pages.

Source updates

Share employer careers pages, public policy pages, official press releases, or government sources. Include the date you viewed the source if the page is likely to change, such as a job posting, pay range, or seasonal hiring page.

Privacy requests

Email the request type and enough context to review it. Do not send Social Security numbers, medical records, identity documents, account credentials, or other sensitive records. HireTea does not need those details to review a privacy question.

Advertising

For advertising or partnership questions, include the company name, website, and proposed placement. Advertising does not control employer coverage, source hierarchy, or how hiring-policy pages are written.

Triage

How messages are reviewed

Highest priority

Sensitive hiring-policy corrections get reviewed first: role-specific screening, background checks, pay, age requirements, screening steps, uniforms or required purchases, orientation, privacy, and source attribution.

What may change

A correction may lead to an updated page, an added caveat, a stronger source link, a known-limitation note, a noindex decision for weak evidence, or no change if the submitted source is outdated or less reliable.

What cannot be handled

HireTea cannot check an individual application status, contact an employer on your behalf, retrieve account access, make a hiring decision, provide legal advice, or verify private background-check results.

Best subject lines

Use clear subjects such as "Correction: Walmart screening page", "Source update: Target pay page", or "Privacy request". Include the URL so the right page can be reviewed quickly.

Response time

Review process

Correction requests

Correction requests are usually reviewed within 5 business days. Time-sensitive legal or privacy requests should be labeled clearly in the subject line.

Editorial judgment

HireTea prioritizes official employer sources, active job postings, public policy pages, and government sources over forum posts or unsourced claims.

Helpful evidence

Public links are preferred because they can be reviewed without exposing private applicant information. Screenshots may be useful only when they show a public posting or public policy that has changed, but a link is still better when available. If a correction depends on a specific city, role, store, warehouse, franchise, or posting date, include that context so the page can keep the right caveat instead of overstating one answer for every applicant.

Follow-up

If a correction is accepted, the relevant page is updated in the static site and the page's visible update date or source language may change. If more context is needed, the reply will ask for a current public source rather than private personal records.
