Privacy
HireTea is a static information site for US job applicants. It does not require an account and does not send the inputs you type into the on-page answer generator to a HireTea server. Personalization happens entirely in your browser so you can copy the generated text and use it in your own application.
Content
HireTea pages combine public employer-source research with AI-assisted drafting and human editorial review. Every published claim cites a primary source the reader can verify, linked at the bottom of each page. We do not present unedited AI output as researched journalism. When corporate sources are silent on a topic, we say so explicitly and cite the silent URL as evidence.
Analytics
Page views, referring source, approximate geographic region, device class, and aggregate interaction events such as copy-button clicks. We do not collect names, addresses, or anything you type into the on-page answer generator.
Aggregate analytics help us understand which company hubs and hiring guide pages applicants find useful. The data is not sold and is not used to identify individual visitors.
Use a browser extension such as Google Analytics Opt-out, enable a Do Not Track signal, or block analytics in your browser's privacy settings. Disabling analytics does not change what you see on the site.
Advertising
HireTea uses Google AdSense to display advertising on selected pages. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this site or other sites on the internet. As a result of ad serving, third parties may place and read cookies on your browser and may use web beacons, IP addresses, or other identifiers to collect ad-serving information.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet. Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
Google is the current advertising vendor for HireTea. Visitors can review how Google uses advertising cookies and partner-site data at Google advertising technologies and How Google uses data from partner sites and apps.
Visitors may also opt out of third-party vendor cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.
If HireTea serves personalized ads to visitors in the EEA, the UK, or Switzerland, it uses Google Privacy & messaging or another Google-certified consent platform where required. Visitors who see a consent message can use that message or the privacy and cookie settings it provides to manage or withdraw advertising consent.
Standard data such as IP address, browser type, approximate location, and pages viewed. Ad vendors do not receive the inputs you type into the on-page answer generator because that data never leaves your browser.
Affiliate
HireTea may earn a commission when a visitor clicks an affiliate link and later buys a paid product or subscription. Affiliate links are marked near the link so readers can tell when a recommendation may create a commission.
Some Teal affiliate links use Impact.com tracking. Impact.com or Teal may use cookies, referral IDs, browser identifiers, timestamps, and purchase events to credit the referral and calculate commissions.
Affiliate relationships do not determine which employers, guides, or applicant workflows HireTea publishes. Teal affiliate links are included only where a resume, cover letter, or application tracking tool is directly relevant to the page.
You can ignore affiliate links, block third-party cookies in your browser, or visit third-party tools directly. Blocking affiliate cookies may prevent commission attribution but does not change the HireTea page content.
Your inputs
The role, experience, and reason fields you fill into a company hub generator are processed locally by JavaScript in your browser. They are not transmitted to a HireTea server, are not stored across sessions, and are not used to train any model.
Do not paste sensitive personal information (Social Security numbers, account credentials, medical history, etc.) into the answer generator. Treat it the way you would treat a public scratchpad.
HireTea is intended for adult job applicants. The site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Rights and retention
HireTea does not currently change behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals, but visitors can block analytics and ad cookies in browser settings.
Visitors may request access, correction, or deletion of personal information if HireTea has any responsive record connected to the request.
California visitors may request information about personal data handling and ask for deletion of personal information where applicable.
Analytics and ad data are retained according to the settings and policies of the relevant third-party providers. Emails are kept as long as needed to handle the request.
External services
HireTea links to employer careers pages, company policy pages, government sources, and other third-party sites. Those sites control their own privacy practices.
Analytics, advertising, and browser features may be provided by third parties. Their privacy policies apply to their own data collection and processing.
